We loved that Sona Inn had ample parking for our truck and trailer. The location was convenient, with a gas station nearby. The AC worked great, keeping us nice and cool. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the heavy door with its own key card made us feel safe. The coffee maker was fantastic and easy to use. We also appreciated that the hotel was pet-friendly and had options for smoking and non-smoking rooms. It may not be a 5-star hotel, but it's a hidden gem for us night owls who like to go out.
Felt warm, no complaints.

The location of this hotel is perfect for those traveling by truck, as it is right next door to a convenient truck stop. Being so close to the truck stop, guests can easily access amenities and services they may need during their stay. Additionally, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The friendly staff provide great service, and the breakfast offered is a delicious start to the day.
The hotel lacks certain modern amenities that some may desire.

I've been coming to this hotel for over 10 years when visiting this area, and it always offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, and the rooms are always clean and fresh. The staff is accommodating and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location is convenient, just off the interstate, making it easily accessible for travelers. It's also within walking distance of a truck stop and a local restaurant, so you never have to worry about finding a meal. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and a great way to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
All was great, nothing to improve.

During my New Year stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the great location of this hotel. It was situated right off the highway with easy access to nearby restaurants and a truck stop. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which was a real plus. The hot breakfast was an added touch that made the stay even more enjoyable.
One downside of this hotel was the small pool that was less than desirable due to the ants. there was no HBO or premium cable, and the lack of clocks in the room was inconvenient.

The motel's amenities were rudimentary except for the breakfast that ran out quickly.

The free breakfast was okay and the staff was friendly. Best aspects: the bed was comfortable and the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
The motel is outdated and in need of some serious renovations. the pool was small and uninviting.

We recently stayed at a little Texas gem near the border for our regular trips to Dilley. The hotel offered accessible parking for our truck and 30' trailer, even when the lot was full. It was conveniently located near a gas station. The AC kept us nice and cold, while the clean beds and heavy door with key card provided safety. The fantastic coffee maker was easy to use, and the pet-friendly hotel had options for smoking and non-smoking rooms. a great choice for our stay.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
